Buffering? Check these things before changing your plan

A pause in playback can have several causes. A useful test changes one thing at a time so you can describe what improved and what stayed the same.

Check whether it affects one stream

Try another channel or title in the same player. If only one stream fails, note its name and the time. If everything fails, continue with the connection and device checks.

Give the connection room

Pause large downloads and try moving closer to the router. A wired Ethernet connection is worth testing when your device supports it. A high speed-test result alone does not rule out unstable Wi-Fi.

Compare a lower resolution

Try a lower-resolution version of the stream. If that plays consistently while the higher-resolution version stalls, your connection or decoder may be struggling with the extra load. Check the device’s supported formats as well as the internet connection.

Send support useful details

Include the device model, player, affected stream, approximate time and what you already tested. Do not send your password in a public screenshot.
