Players often offer several ways to add an account. The right choice depends on the details supplied by your provider, not the option that happens to appear first.
When you receive three details
If your activation message has a username, password and server URL, choose the player’s Xtream Codes or XC login option. A profile name is usually just a label you choose to recognise the account.
When you receive a playlist link
An M3U option accepts one complete playlist URL. Paste the whole address into the playlist field. Do not put it into the server field of a three-part login.
When your box uses a portal
A portal device may need a registered device identifier and an assigned portal address. Follow the instructions for that exact box rather than trying to convert the account yourself.
Keep connection details private
A playlist link can contain account credentials. Treat it like a password, including when sharing screenshots with support.
